Urge Governor Cuomo and the APA: Classify the Essex Chain of Lakes Lands as "Wilderness"

Take action to protect the Adirondacks today!  Wilderness classification for these lands and waters is important because only a 'Wilderness' classification will truly prevent recreational overuse, and protect the sensitive Essex Chain of Lakes, Upper Hudson River gorge, and other vulnerable areas from the negative impacts of motorized and mechanized human uses such as 4-wheel drive vehicles, motorboats, float planes, snowmobiles, and all-terrain vehicles, all of which would inevitably result in the introduction of invasive species such as as zebra mussels, Asian clams, and non-native fish species which would threaten the unique strain of native trout found in these waters. Tell Governor Cuomo and the APA: Classify these lands as "Wilderness"
